This policy covers the public website, dEX web chat, an automated inbound receptionist when active, public forms, and related business communications. A separate client agreement, candidate notice, or internal workforce policy may apply to information collected outside these public channels.

GuardEX offers security services in the United States, primarily in New Jersey. GuardEX does not offer security services in the European Union or European Economic Area. The website is operated from the United States, and information submitted through it is processed in the United States.

When you request a quote, callback, or other response, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, company, property or service location, requested services, schedule, desired start date, and the details you choose to include.

When you use dEX, we may collect your questions, conversation history, page context, service preferences, and any contact or property information you voluntarily provide. If you submit a quote, callback, or contact request through dEX, relevant chat content may be included with that request for GuardEX staff to review.

Employment submissions may include contact and address information, work-related qualifications, availability, transportation, SORA status, work experience, compensation preferences, referral information, and other information requested by the form.

The website does not conduct background checks or collect authorization for a background check. If GuardEX speaks with a candidate and later decides that a background check is appropriate, that process occurs separately and is accompanied by any disclosure and authorization required by applicable law.

Please do not submit Social Security numbers, payment-card information, medical information, government identification numbers, passwords, or other sensitive information through public website forms or dEX.

When an automated receptionist answers an inbound call, a voice technology provider may process the caller's audio in real time to understand the request, provide information, and route or document the call. The GuardEX operations system is designed to retain limited call details, routing information, concise summaries, and follow-up tasks—not audio recordings or full call transcripts.

GuardEX does not create voiceprints or use voice data for biometric identification. Our automated receptionist does not initiate outbound calls. If you ask for a callback, a GuardEX team member may call the number you provided about that request.

Our systems and service providers may process IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, referring page, timestamps, consent choices, security signals, and similar technical information needed to deliver and protect the website.

Google Analytics remains disabled unless you allow analytics. If allowed, it may collect usage and campaign information so we can understand website performance and improve the paths people use to contact GuardEX. We configure analytics to avoid intentionally sending form fields, chat messages, names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other direct contact information as analytics event data, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We use information to respond to requests, prepare or follow up on quotes, arrange human callbacks, evaluate employment inquiries, provide requested information, operate dEX, maintain records, protect the website, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, measure performance, and comply with legal obligations.

Submitting a request authorizes GuardEX to respond by phone or email about that request. It does not by itself create a security-services agreement, guarantee availability, authorize an automated outbound call, or authorize unrelated third-party marketing.

dEX is an automated website assistant. It uses programmed workflows and, for eligible questions, may use an AI service to prepare an answer grounded in approved GuardEX website information. dEX can make mistakes and does not provide emergency, legal, financial, or safety-critical advice.

Chat questions and approved website context may be processed by our technology providers. Chat content may be logged or routed for quality, safety, abuse-prevention, and technical review. If you submit a quote, callback, contact, or other follow-up request, relevant chat content may be stored with that request in GuardEX operational systems and made available to authorized staff. In an emergency, call 911 rather than using the website or dEX.

The website uses essential browser storage and cookies for functions such as security, abuse protection, consent choices, and signed dEX sessions. Cloudflare Turnstile may process technical signals to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse.

Non-essential analytics is controlled through the website's analytics preferences. You can allow or decline analytics and can also use browser controls to remove or block cookies. Blocking essential storage may prevent protected forms or dEX from working correctly.

Depending on the feature used, our service providers may include hosting and infrastructure providers, Cloudflare for security and abuse protection, Google Analytics for optional analytics, OpenAI for eligible AI-assisted answers or inbound voice processing, Twilio for inbound telephone communications, Resend for transactional email, and GuardEX lead and operations systems. These providers process information to perform services for GuardEX. GuardEX does not use ZoomInfo on this website.

We do not sell or rent website lead or applicant information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect people or property, to investigate abuse or security incidents, in connection with a business transaction, or with your direction or consent.

Google Analytics event and user data is configured for a 14-month retention period. Other information is retained only as reasonably necessary for the request, candidate review, service relationship, operational records, security, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. The period depends on the type of record and whether an active relationship, open request, legal hold, or required recordkeeping period applies. Backup copies may remain for a limited period after deletion from active systems.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information and system involved. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You can decline non-essential analytics through the website preference control and can opt out of marketing communications by following the instructions in the message or contacting us.

Subject to applicable law and appropriate identity verification, you may ask what personal information we hold about you, request access to or correction of it, or request deletion. Some records may need to be retained for legal, security, contractual, or operational reasons. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right provided by applicable law.

Because there is no uniform industry standard for browser Do Not Track signals, the website does not respond to those signals. Use the website's analytics preference control to allow or decline non-essential analytics. GuardEX does not sell personal information or use website information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
