Lincoln Park is a borough in northeastern Morris County within the valleys of the Pompton and Pequannock river systems. U.S. Route 202 and local county roads connect the community with Wayne, Pequannock, Montville, Kinnelon, and Interstate 287. The Lincoln Park NJ Transit station on the Montclair-Boonton Line provides service toward Montclair, Newark, Hoboken, and New York connections. The borough includes established residential neighborhoods, schools, parks, local shops, professional offices, and light industrial properties. River corridors and floodplains shape much of the local landscape, while wooded hills rise toward neighboring Kinnelon and Montville. Lincoln Park developed from a rural and railroad community into a suburban municipality, but its traditional center and natural boundaries remain visible. Its location near the Morris-Passaic county line gives residents access to employment and commercial areas in both counties while preserving a distinct small-borough identity.
